It is my pleasure to introduce myself to you. I have been a social worker for approximately 30 years and have worked with children, teenagers, adults, and families. Before I became a social worker, I worked as a diagnostician for children with special needs and their families.
Therapy, to me, has always been a supportive, caring, and enriching experience as we travel through our life’s journey…growing to be our most desired selves. Each of us has struggled with many problems, from childhood through adulthood, needing the empathetic listening and responsive caring of a supportive person. Our goal, at A Place To Be Heard, is to provide an environment in which our deepest feelings can be shared and understood. We have attempted to create an office space that encourages relaxation, comfort, and sharing.
I work with each person in an individualized approach that meets their needs. Every person is different in their preferences and responses. When it is desirable, I may request that a family or relationship member participates in a session so that supportive energy envelopes the client. My goal is always to meet the objectives of my clients. I will always be searching for supportive means until each client has established his/her goals. It is my pleasure to reach out to you in this way.
